Cross Country team brings home six varsity medals

In their first appearance as the Potter County Battler cross country team, the thin clads brought home six varsity medals and three JV ribbons from the Mobridge Invitational on Friday. “It was very good for our first meet,” said Coach Jessica Larson, who boasts a team of 15 runners this year. The boys placed fourth as a team with 34 points.
Following are the stats from the Aug. 24 meet.
On Sept. 1 the cross country team heads to Aberdeen for the Roe Granger meet starting at 9:30 a.m.
