Emergency crews called out


Gettysburg firefighters were called to a ditch fire north of town on Wednesday, Sept. 26 around 11:30 a.m.
The fire appeared to have started in a ditch along Highway 83 after a trailer blew a tire.  The fire was contained to the ditch and about five acres of grass burned.
On Tuesday, firefighters and ambulance were called for a truck overturned on US 212 west of town.
Around 2:30 firefighters were again called for a grass fire near US 212 and Hwy 1804.
