Rollover only hunting opener accident


The Potter County Sheriff Department reported that the only accident over the hunting weekend was not hunting related.
Around 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20, a one car rollover occurred approximatley three miles north of Lebanon on Hwy 47.
According to Sheriff Curt Hamburger, the driver, Brian Van Well, 40, of Pierre, refused treatment. The Toyota Tacoma he was driving received over $5,000 in damage. The cause of the accident was determined to be over correction while swerving to miss a deer.
