Julie Joachim cancer benefit Sunday in Agar
A benefit will be held for Julie Joachim of Agar on Sunday, Nov. 25 starting at 11:30 a.m. with a chili and soup feed at the Agar Fire Hall. An auction and silent auction will begin at 1:30 that afternoon.
Joachim has been battling breast cancer since 2001. She has undergone a series of treatments over the years, and now is doctoring through a cancer center in Texas where she must regularly travel as part of her treatment plan.

Julie and her husband, Doug, farm near Agar and are the parents of Justin and Jared. Justin and his wife, Beth, live in Gettysburg.
