Christmas Tree Extravaganza at museum Sunday, Dec. 9
The holiday season is in full swing in Gettysburg, and area organizations are now getting ready for the Christmas Tree Extravaganza.
The annual event takes place the afternoon of Sunday, Dec. 9 at the Dakota Sunset Museum.
The trees will be situated throughout the museum and decorated with a variety of themes. Numerous organizations and church groups from the community participate in this yearly activity. Those wishing to display a tree should contact the museum.
Entertainment will be provided by the Methodist Church Bell Choir at 2 p.m. and refreshments will be served to guests. At 3 p.m. Mrs. Claus will be reading stories to the youngsters.
The decorated trees will be on display at the Dakota Sunset Museum throughout the month of December.
