Hoven emergency crews called to roll over accident on Monday
Hoven’s emergency departments were called out Monday morning for a one vehicle rollover accident in bitter cold weather.
The accident, which was reported at 9:54 a.m., was south of Hoven and three miles east on 149th Street and 322nd Avenue. A 2005 Chevy Impala, drivien by Donna Rausch, 50, of Hoven, was declared a total loss in the accident, which also involved a child passenger.
Hoven police, fire department, ambulance, Potter County Sheriff, and SD Highway Patrol responded to the accident, with the HP conducting the investigation.
According to Sheriff Curt Hamburger, seat belts and a car seat were were used, and no serious injuries were reported. He said that loose gravel is believed to have been a factor in the accident.
