Chamber’s Jamboree variety show Friday night at Legion
If you are looking for a fun night on the town, the Chamber has it!
Friday night the Gettysburg Chamber of Commerce will give you an evening of toe-tapping music as they host their annual Jamboree with a variety show at the Legion Community Building starting at 7:30 p.m.
Members of the community will be honored for their outstanding contributions to Gettysburg with presentation of awards including Business of the Year, Organization of the Year, and Citizen of the Year.
Acts range from the vocal stylings to dance routines, following the them of “Hooray for Hollywood!”
Cast members include Bobby Jenner, Madee Boadwine, Jeannee Anderson, Molly McRoberts, Anne Robbennolt, Angelia Hiles, Sarah Tanner, Cindy Schmidt, Shawna Shaw, April Goebel, Todd Mangin and sons Joseph and Caleb, Bobbi and Jeremy Schmidt, Jessica Larson, Javonte Madsen, and Allison Goebel, along with several Chamber volunteers working backstage to bring it all together.
“This is a great way to beat the winter blahs,” said Chamber president Angelia Hiles. “After all the snow this week, it is a good time to get out and have some fun!”
The event is a major fundraiser for the organization and money raised goes toward helping Chamber projects. Tickets are available at the door the night of the show.
