Bond Election to be held April 9
NOTICE OF SCHOOL DISTRICT
A School District Bond Election will be held on April 9, 2013 at the Gettysburg Fire Hall, 417 W Garfield Ave, Gettysburg, South Dakota. If the polls cannot be opened because of bad weather, the election may be postponed one week.
The election polls will be open from seven o’clock a.m. to seven o’clock p.m. central time on the day of the election.
At the election, the following question will be voted upon:
SHALL THE GETTYSBURG SCHOOL DISTRICT 53-1, POTTER COUNTY, SOUTH DAKOTA, ISSUE ITS NEGOTIABLE GENERAL OBLIGATION SCHOOL BONDS IN AN AMOUNT NOT EXCEEDING $6,900,000, ISSUED IN ONE OR MORE SERIES, BEARING INTEREST AT SUCH RATES AS MAY BE DETERMINED BY THE SCHOOL BOARD, PAYABLE AND MATURING FROM 1 AND NOT TO EXCEED 30 YEARS AFTER THE DATE OF ISSUANCE, FOR THE PURPOSE OF FINANCING A PORTION OF THE COSTS OF CONSTRUCTING NEW AND RENOVATING THE EXISTING SCHOOL FACILITIES AND COSTS OF ISSUANCE?
SHALL THE ABOVE PROPOSITION BE APPROVED AND THE BONDS ISSUED?
