Chairman Maroney called an adjourned meeting of the Potter County Board of Commissioners to order at 8:00 A.M. in the Commissioners Room at the Courthouse.  Other Commissioners present: Worth, Shellito, Arbach and Williams.
CONSOLIDATED BOARD
OF EQUALIZATION
W/GETTYSBURG CITY
Moved by Worth seconded by Williams to adjourn as a Board of County Commissioners and convene as a Consolidated Board of Equalization with Gettysburg City. All voted aye.  Motion carried. Each member signed the oath to fairly and impartially perform their duties as a member of the Consolidated Board of Equalization. In attendance from Gettysburg City: Ronald Larson and Josh Bausch; Gettysburg School: Kay Schmidt.
1. JBN Investments Limited Partnership filed an appeal on the property located on Lots 1-10 plus vacated alley Block 1 Western Add’n. to Gettysburg City valued at $218,257. The building had burned on Dec. 14, 2012 after assessment date.  Moved by Bausch, seconded by Worth to lower the value from $218,257 to $60,239.  All voting aye.  Motion carried.
2. Gettysburg/Whitlock Bay Development Corp filed an appeal on the property located on Lots 12 & 13 and W. 2’ of Lot 14, Bryson’s Add’n. to Gettysburg City valued at $27,819.  Moved by Bausch, seconded by Larson to make no change to the value.  All voted aye.  Motion carried.
3. Gettysburg Whitlock Bay Development Corp filed an appeal on the property located on  the E. 23’ of Lot 14 & all of lot 15, Block 24, WTLCO Addn. to Gettysburg City valued at $19,363.  Moved by Bausch, seconded by Larson to make no change to the building value.  All voted aye.  Motion carried.
4. Michael Jager filed an appeal on the property located on Lots 1 & 2 less Hwy & W. 40’ of vacated Prospect Ave., Fairview Addn. to Gettysburg City valued at $85,412. Moved by Bausch, seconded by Schmidt to lower the value from $85,412 to $65,000.  Roll call voted: “Aye”:  Worth, Larson, Bausch, Schmidt, Arbach, Williams and Maroney. “Nay”: Shellito. Motion carried.
5. Evelyn McGough filed an appeal on the mobile home located on Lot 11 & 12, Block 8, Schlachter’s Addn. to Gettysburg city valued at $36,997. Moved by Bausch, seconded by Shellito to lower the mobile home from $36,997 to $30,000. All voted aye. Motion carried.
Moved by Schmidt, seconded by Worth to adjourn as a Consolidated Board of Equalization with Gettysburg City.  All voted aye.  Motion carried.

W/LEBANON TOWN
Moved by Williams seconded by Worth to convene as a Consolidated Board of Equalization with Lebanon Town.  All voted aye.  Motion carried. Each member signed the oath to fairly and impartially perform their duties as a member of the Consolidated Board of Equalization.
No appeals had been filed with the County Auditor.

Moved by Shellito, seconded by Williams to adjourn as a Consolidated Board of Equalization and convene as a County Board of Equalization.  All voted aye.  Motion carried.  Each member signed the oath to fairly and impartially perform their duties as a member of the County Board of Equalization.
DISABLED VETERAN EXEMPT
PROPERTY TAX STATUS
An application for property tax exemption status according to SDCL 10-4-40 was reviewed.  Moved by Williams, seconded by Arbach to approve the application for Disabled Veteran Exempt Property Tax Status. All voted aye.  Motion carried.
ASSESSMENT FREEZE
FOR ELDERLY AND DISABLED
Eleven applications for the Elderly and Disabled Assessment Freeze were reviewed.  Moved by Arbach, seconded by Williams that all requirements had been met to qualify for the 2013 tax freeze.  All voted aye.  Motion carried.
STATUTORY EXEMPT

Moved by Shellito, seconded by Williams to approve the following tax exempt properties.  All voted aye.  Motion carried.
