Sunday benefit for Nic Zuber at Legion building
A benefit and auction is planned for Nic Zuber, son of Patty and John Zuber, to help defray medical expenses.
Nic will be a junior at GHS next fall, and spent the end of his sophomore year undergoing brain surgeries.
A benefit and auction will be held on June 23 at the American Legion Community Building from 5 to 7 p.m. with a meal of pork loin sandwiches available.
There should be something for everyone at the auction. Some of the items donated include:

-Wrangler Swing and Slide Playground Set
-Char-Broil Classic C-45G 4-Burner Gas Grill
-Membership to the Gettysburg Country Club
-Battler Gear Basket with Seat Cushion
-John Green Framed Print
-Antique railroad wood stove
-Coffee, candle, and cross basket
-Montana Silver Smith Sculpture
-Hair Product Package and Gift Card
-Photo Session and Smart Phone Cover
Many more items have been donated from area citizens and local businesses. There will also be a silent auction and a quilt raffle.
Donations may be made to Nic by contacting the Rev. Daniel and Shayna Tews at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Gettysburg or by calling 765-9300 or cell 812-320-9652. An account has also been set up at Great Western Bank.
