Funeral service for Dollie L. Schilling, 97, of Aberdeen was Feb. 15, 2012, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with the Reverend Hyle Anderson and the Reverend Nathan Henschen officiating. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, at the Gettysburg City Cemetery in Gettysburg. Schriver’s Memorial Mortuary and Crematory of Aberdeen is in charge of arrangements.

Dollie died Feb. 9 at Bethesda Home of Aberdeen.

Dollie L. Wiedmann was born on March 10, 1914, to Ludwig and Katherine (Feiock) Wiedmann at Colome, SD. She worked at the Dowden Hotel in Gettysburg and the hospital in Onida.

Dollie was united in marriage to Joe Hanson on Aug. 5, 1936, in Gettysburg.

On May 29, 1965, Dollie was united in marriage to Harold Schilling of Akaska. They owned and operated the Akaska Bar and Grill. Dollie worked at the Gettysburg Memorial Hospital and the Manor.

She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; three brothers; five sisters; and one stepdaughter.

Dollie is survived by three daughters: Carol Jean Lehrkamp of Mobridge, Lila Mae (Gene) Simon of Hoven, and Belle Rae (Bob) Sieber of Mina Lake; three step-sons: Jim (Wendy) Schilling of Felton, Del., Duane Schilling of Vermillion and Roy (Mary) Schilling of Bella Vista, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; two brothers: Art (Wanda) Wiedmann of Watertown and Walt Wiedmann of Sturgis; one sister: Kathy Coleman of Aberdeen.
