sasha bike571Sasha Cordell (Amy and Todd) collected donations from 110 people to raise the most money for the annual Gettysburg In Action fundraiser held at the city park on Friday, Sept. 27. The GIA Battler Bike-a-thon had the highest number of participants ever with 65 students from Kindergarten through sixth grade riding to raise $6,381.28 for the Gettysburg After School Program and GIA projects. Even though it was a chilly, damp day, the event still had a great turn-out and the cyclists were treated to a ride on firetrucks after the event, courtesy of the Gettysburg Volunteer Firefighters.
