Vocaldente a cappella concert starts series Sunday, Nov. 17
Gettysburg is hosting professional performers from across the nation as part of the newly formed High Plains Concert Series.
The first of the season performances is Sunday, Nov. 17 at 7:30 at the Legion Building with Vocaldente, an internationally acclaimed German a cappella group who will come to town with their blend of entertainment that has taken them throughout Europe and repeated tours of the USA, Hong Kong, Singapore, and South Korea. Now they are adding Gettysburg to the list where their prize-winning vocal artistry, great choreography, and humorous dialog will entertain audiences of all ages.
The concert series, now in its second year, has been organized through the combined forces of the High Plains Arts Council and the Gettysburg Chamber of Commerce. Concert series members in Gettysburg have reciprocity with Pierre and Redfield concerts, which offer more presentations throughout the season.
Season membership tickets will be sold at the door and are available by contacting the Chamber office at firstname.lastname@example.org or 765-2528, or stop by the News office or Houck Law Office downtown.
Other shows lined up for the Gettysburg concert series are “Everything Fitz” which is a family fiddle and step show on March 31, and “The Unexpected Surfer Boys” which is a tribute to the Beach Boys and Broadway on April 25.
