Sharon M. Landon, 70, of Watertown, SD, died Feb. 21, 2012 in Watertown.  Funeral services were Friday, Feb. 24 at Grace Lutheran Church in Watertown, SD with  Pastor Steve Lauricella officiating with Marcia Jesma as organist and Lezlie Burns as soloist.

Interment is at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Watertown.

Honorary Pallbearers were her many friends and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Jamie Krause, Jason Krause, Jon Krause, Mike Landon, Jerry Seward and Ricky Roberts.

Sharon Marie Krause Landon was born July 31, 1941 to Herman and Lucille (Painter) Krause at Waubay, South Dakota.  She was baptized Jan. 25, 1942 in the German Lutheran Church parsonage in Waubay.  When Sharon was very young she worked at some of the local stores including, Herbergers, TSC, Penneys, Montgomery Wards along with a few others, as a cashier/salesperson.  She owned and operated Videoland from 1983 to 1998.  She joined the Grace Lutheran Church in 1991.  She married Rick Landon on July, 1993 at Lake Oahe.   Sharon managed the Whitlock Bay Supper Club in Gettysburg from 1998 to 2003.

She enjoyed her family, her flowers and watching Rick garden.  She also enjoyed cooking, fishing, and playing Farmville on Facebook.

She was preceded in death by her  mother and father; her brother, Wally; and nephew, Bill.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Rick of Watertown; her sons, Jerald (Lezlie) Burns of Watertown and Jeffrey (Dawn Rang) Burns of Watertown; her step children, Mike (Brandy) Landon of Watertown, Jennifer (Jerry Seward) Landon of Watertown; her brothers, Jonnie (Janice) Krause of Gettysburg, SD and Charles (Lisa) Krause of Gettysburg, SD; her mother-in-law, Beverly Landon of Watertown; her granddaughter, Lauren Burns of Sioux Falls, SD; her step grandsons, Cole and Deven Landon and Blake Seward; her step granddaughters, Maggie and Madyson Landon; close family friend, Barb Haney; and a host of other relatives.
