DARE graduation ceremony Feb. 5 in Multipurpose Room
Students in Mrs. Sally Simon’s fifth grade class and in Mrs. Patty Stoner’s sixth grade class at Gettysburg Elementary School will be honored on Wednesday, Feb. 5 for completing the DARE Program.
The Drug Abuse Resistance Education program was led by Gettysburg Chief of Police Bill Wainman. Students who successfully completed the course will be presented diplomas during a public ceremony at 5:30 p.m.
SD Attorney General Marty Jackley will be the featured speaker at the ceremony. PCNews editor Molly McRoberts will also address the DARE graduates.
