Colors that run…

frontDSC_0778The Avera Gettysburg Hospital Color Run drew 94 participants to run/walk through town the morning of Saturday, Aug. 2 as a fund raiser for the hospital auxiliary. As they passed color stations, they were splashed with a bright colored powder, and the more the runners sweat, the more color would stick to them. Both a 5K run and a one mile fun run/walk drew people of all ages to participate on a lovely summer morning. The event was done in conjunction with the starting day of the Potter County Fair, and raised $1,590 for the auxiliary.
