Branch out

Some of the dying trees at the Gettysburg city park have been removed, and dead branches on the big cottonwood trees were trimmed back. The work was done in a joint effort by Don Frost, Eric Ellwanger, and the city maintenance crew. New trees were planted throughout the park to replace those removed in an effort to keep the canopy of shade to park visitors for years to come.
