Deer accident…

Although both ambulances were called to the scene, no one was seriously injured when a deer went through the windshield of this car on Tuesday morning. The vehicle, driven by Janelle Wheeler, was struck by a deer five and half miles east of Gettysburg on US 212 while she was traveling to town for school with her two children. Potter County Sheriff Curt Hamburger, Chief of Police Dave Mogard, and the Gettysburg EMTs responded to the call. The deer are on the move, and drivers are reminded to use extreme caution and be on the look out — they can come out of nowhere.
