Potter County shows 80% voter turnout

While nationally the voter turnout for the November general election boasted record numbers, Potter County drew an impressive 80% turnout with 1400 of the 1735 registered voters casting ballots for state and national candidates, along with non-political issues.

The votes in the county mostly reflected those cast throughout the state showing with a strong republican win, however, it did not agree with the majority on the issues of the legalization of marijuana.
