Jayden Hansen from Gettysburg was the winner of the JD Weischedel Memorial bull ride held in Agar on Friday night. With 24 bull riders entered, each contestant got on two bulls with the winner determined by the average score. In the first round, Hansen was the only rider who made it to the eight second whistle, scoring 83 1/2 points. After the second round was complete, John Anderson from Viborg scored 82 1/2 points, and Charles Winters from Martin scored 76 points. Hansen took home the winning paycheck of $2,700 along with the buckle, sponsored by Weischedel’s long time friend, Justin Cronin, and a coat sponsored by the Gerald German family.
