Some concert series memberships still available

Professional performers from across the nation are coming to Gettysburg as part of the newly formed High Plains Concert Series.
The concert series has been organized through the combined forces of the High Plains Arts Council and the Gettysburg Chamber of Commerce, with lots of help from area volunteers.
Concert series members can attend the programs, with a membership drive now in full force.
The season performances begin on Oct. 10 with New Odyssey, a group of three guys who play 30 instruments as part of an act that has been together for over 20 years. On Nov. 12, Carpenter and May will come to town with their blend of “roots” music, picking everything from bluegrass to jazz. The spring show will feature the male acappela group Home Free Vocal Band on April 27.
In addition, concert series members in Gettysburg have reciprocity with Pierre concerts, which offer six more presentations throughout the season.
Season membership tickets are available by contacting the Chamber office at or 765-2528, or stop by the Economic Development office downtown.
