Fireworks display at East Whitlock

The Gettysburg Chamber of Commerce is hosting the annual Independence Day fireworks show on Thursday, July 4 at East Whitlock west of town. The Gettysburg Volunteer Fire Department will light the fireworks at the bay beginning at dusk.  The show is funded through donations made to the Chamber of Commerce by Gettysburg businesses and individuals.  -MMcR

Verna D. Knott, 91, of Lebanon, died Nov. 23, 2018 at the Avera Oahe Manor in Gettysburg. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, June 23, 2019 at the Lebanon Hall, with burial in the Lebanon Cemetery.
